My name is Mette Skov, by day I am a Visual merchandiser, mother of two and girlfriend of one – by night…
I weave!

I live in Denmark, far from the city – and close to the nature. The forest and the beach is my backyard, that is where I play with my girls, gather my thoughts and find my inspiration. I have always had an urge to create, that’s my kind of meditation and therapy – somehow that is how I relax and reload.

My adventure into fiber arts started in early 2015 – at the end of my 2nd pregnancy. I wanted to make a unique alternative to mass produced posters and wall art. I love to mix these old crafts with a modern Scandinavian style, and to play with texture, colors and different mix of materials.
